The fabric for making jeans made from flax is virtually ready, BelTA learned from Nikolai Yefimchik, Chairman of the Belarusian textile industry, on 17 March.
Nikolai Yefimchik stated that work is now in progress to optimize parameters of the fabric. “A number of operations are to be done to make the fabric as acceptable as genuine jeans. Flax has its own peculiarities after all. Although, let me tell you, our fabric looks more interesting than regular jeans,” he said.
